I caught a bit of this in the breakroom at work. Since when does Jenna Jameson have anything to do with video games? I guess these days showing your cunt to millions of people will get you celebrity status.

The mainstream will never understand video games.
Therefore, they should be barred from hosting ridiculous awards shows.
If they get caught breaking this standard, it's castrations across the board.

Bad, but not as bad as the Spike TV awards (or Spike TV period), but then again Spike TV didn't have Carmen Electra. The DDR skit (the DDR Extreme machine self-destructed as a result of bad dancing) and the "I love the XX's" parody were rather lame. 15 Viewtifuls unlocks the Paris Hilton sex tape? But the clip said 20 Viewtifuls, and we didn't see any overrated porno videos. There were a few good moments, but I lost interest and decided to watch South Park instead.
Seriously, I could do a better awards show, and I don't even have a camera.

Im still mad that G4 merged with Techtv, I prefered them seperate for alot of reasons... :(

To further take this one off the main road it previously been traveling on...
G4 and TechTV alone didn't have enough interesting material in their respective stables to merit two standalone stations. The merge was good I think, because it made TechTV drop a lot of those lame-ass British reruns they had been showing like crazy. They still need to drop some of the rest though, because I've never met anyone who enjoyed watching Future Fighting Machines. That's macho bullshit best left to the Discovery Channel these days (what with that motorcycle show enjoyed by numerous assholes). It also helped streamline them both and cut down on the (still overwhelming) amount of reruns they both show.

I dont believe they glorified "Future Fighting Machines" as a "Macho" show. All they did was talk about the technology behind present and future "fighting machines". But anyway I never cared for that show, but "Call For Help" was a great show, but it got pulled for what?, so they can play re-runs of shows like pulse and Icons...
I guess Im one of them numerous assholes you mentioned in your quote, although I dont find myself to be macho or an asshole for that matter, I do enjoy a few of them motorcycle shows and Im entitled to that, just like your entitled to your opinion.

Actually, I think American Chopper's a hoot: you don't watch it as much to fetishize over thier curent projects as to watch the utter train wreck of how they interact with each other. BTW: the Pop has the best Fu Manchu this side of Hulk Hogan....
Also a big, big fan of Mythbusters. God I love that show.

I'm glad I don't have G4TechTV here. I'm sure if I did I'd have to watch the awards show just like you have to look at a car wreck, and then I would end up pissed off, causing me to bitch and complain a lot which annoys the hell out of my boyfriend, haha.
