So, I was looking for a cd tonight (Praful: One Day Deep for those who care) in eight stacks of them. And as I'm going through them, cursing myself for not having this organized at all, I see something I didn't recognize. Flopon World WARP it says. "WTF is this" I'm thinking. Turns out I have a mint complete copy of Trip'd 2 for the Japanese 3DO! I don't even know where I got this! Oddly enough I was looking to buy it sometime soon. And it joins the others that I found in recent days, like Battle Ace for Supergrafx (for sale btw) in yet another pile. I've never owned a Supergrafx in my life. So it has been quite an evening, but I really need to get more organized me thinks. After all this rambling, my point is, have you ever found rare things in your own house that you didn't know you had? Especially things you were ready to purchase?

You probably need to be a little more organized. If nothing else maybe start a list of everything you have and organzied it in a way that it's easy to find anything at any given time.

I found a Commodore 1702 monitor and an Excitebike cartridge in the basement of my old apartment. It was a 2-unit home (I was upstairs) and the the laundry basement was shared with people living in the appartment below me. There was a ton of crap in this basement that accumulated over the years from previous tenants, most memorable being an unopened case of Josta soda (yuck!). I was pretty stoked when I found the Excitebike and monitor though. I was collecting NES heavily at the time and didn't have Excitebike yet, so that was cool. The monitor also came in handy too when I wanted to play games but my roommate was watching TV (which was often).

In an alternate world, Dreaming Eye died, and the executors of his estate would've tossed all the CDs - including this 3DO CD - into a bin and sold it in bulk on eBay LOL

Scary thought, eh? I'll make darn sure the value of my stuff will be listed before I pass on (just not dinnertime conversation, wouldn't really like having things disappear to pay for tatoos you know)...

i never found anything like that....i know every game i have and where it is....but, i am a meticulous neat freak and i never let anything be out of place, so that might help prevent things like that from happening to me.
