This may be noteworthy for fans of Metal Slug 5 - I own a copy of the game for the PC. See, I was looking through the game section of a little store in Sydney's Chinatown and found a bunch of console/PC games, Chinese version. Anyhow, aside from a couple PC games I recognized (Chinese Line of Sight: Vietnam? Oh yes! Counterstrike, too), I saw Onimusha, some form of Everquest or other, and Prince of Persia! MS5, interestingly enough, was one of the most decently priced titles on the racks at only $15 Australian - which is a bit less than $15 US.

Apparently the distributor is "Junnet," at least going by a tiny holographic sticker on the front with the url http://www.10000z.com on the front.

(In other news, OXM Australia - the Official XBox Magazine - seems to be winning the quality battle against the official Australian PlayStation 2 magazine, which sports typos big enough to drive a zamboni through - all the way to Auckland, New Zealand, whose residents must make do with the Australian versions of such magazines. Aside from quality, though, the writing style reminds me strongly of what I see online at GameSpy or other review sites...just Australian).

Good to see your enjoying the trip (i think). $15 AU is like $10 or $9 US, which makes it a pretty damn good deal.

If your looking for an Australian style magazine i would recommend PcPowerplay- Its probably as australian as youll find (but not okker) :P
If your still in sydney- do you know if Segaland is still around? Its a big sega theme park, near the harbour i think..

My first thought is "piracy"...but that may just be a stereotype on Chinese games. :)

I've not heard of it, but I do know that there was a Metal Slug Collection for PC that was legit from Korea a year or two back, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is legit too.

Well, I'm not still in Sydney - I was last there about three weeks ago :P - but yes, Segaland was still around; I almost forgot about it for some reason, but yeah, I read something about it. It's there!

As for this game box, well, it's legit; the Prince of Persia and Onimusha boxes are very sharp looking, but MS5's box doesn't look low-quality.
