This is what I came up with for my first post in this forum. Yaaay!
Since I view Capcom Vs. SNK 2 as the culmination of over 10 years of 2D fighting games, (and also since CvS2 is my all-time favorite video game) I'd like to know out of curiosity what everyone's team is.
I'll go first. Duh. ^_^
3 on 3: Rolento, Blanka, Eagle, N-Groove
Ratio: Sagat-4, K-Groove (heh heh)

My cheap team, which can beat everyone but I don't consider too honorable, is: Blanka, Guile, and Balrog (Vega). A Groove.
My honrable team, for which my skills which each character are considerable, is Kyo, Kim, and Ken. P Groove.

I should dig out my back issues of Tips & Tricks and post all the tournament-winning teams. Here's one: Dhalsim, Sagat and Yamazaki, P-Groove. The Ultimate Keep-Away team.

For me, it's Iori, King and Blanka. I tend to go for style over substance.

Call me a cheapass but at my local arcade they have unlocked all four secret characters (G.Rugal, S.Akuma, E.Ryu and Mad Iori) and I use them pretty well
Ratio 4 G.Rugal or S.Akuma (N-groove) *gotta pick em as ratio 4's only or they end up losing more health per hit than any other character in the game* definately unbeatable
I got a question for you guys: using your prefered teams what is your strategy for defeating your opponents?

Eagle, Ken (or alternately Dan, if I'm feeling confident), and Cammy. Eagle's always been overlooked... he was one of the last characters from Fighting Street to be introduced to the new Street Fighter games. It's time for that neglect to end, because Eagle's one of Capcom's best character designs, and a brutally elegant fighter thanks to his pair of clubs. Let me tell you, those things can really hurt when you learn to use them properly. They're even deadlier in Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the Game Boy Advance, where you can cornertrap and juggle opponents with Eagle's rapid fire strikes.
That reminds me... I really need to get a copy of the Playstation 2 version of this game. That way, I won't feel too guilty when I get a burned copy of Capcom vs. SNK 2 for the Dreamcast!

Terry (soooo many moves!)
Yuri (quick, and again, so many moves and strategies!)
Ryo (more moves, good patterns, and I love that super!)
N Groove
Very strange, though, because I'm a HUGE Capcom fan. I like SNK, but I've had less exposure to it than the Capcom games. But, for Capcom Vs SNK 2, the diversity of the SNK characters are unmatched, which then leads to so many different battle tactics. Hibiki and Nakoruru almost made the list, as did Ken.
