View Full Version : SECRET SANTA - TODAY IS THE DEADLINE!

Thanks for your patience! And now, for round 2..

With 42 people signing up, this should be QUITE the holiday season!
What I need now from each one of you is a want list and a shipping address (please include your REAL name). I'd LIKE to keep it fairly general, ie "I collect for systems x, y & z"; you can feel free to name specific games, however, keep in mind the reality of listing things like the NWC cart, or a Planet of the Apes proto. I also recommend listing, at minimum, ten different items. The more variety YOU provide, the easier you make it on your Santa. Get the point? Good.
Any questions can be directed to me in a PM.

Please email your lists & addresses to the following address: punkoffgirl@digitpressDOTcom (just change the dot ;) ) with the words "Secret Santa" in the subject line. The sooner I get all these, the sooner I'll get back to you all on who you've got to shop for.

I don't know either! I admit, however, that the post about it wasn't stickied for as long as I would have liked (Started last Wednesday, ran until Saturday morning), but that's because I still have to get everyone's want lists in, and I want to get this going so it doesn't interfere with everyone's regularly scheduled holiday season!

It doesn't need to be an even number. Just as an example, everyone in the list could be assigned the next person on the list, with the last person being assigned the first person. Any number greater than one will work.

I'm sorry guys, but I set a deadline to sign up for a reason. As it is, I'm still just over half of the total want lists I need from the initial participants, and the deadline for THAT is Friday. Two days to go is just too late. As it is, I still need to figure out what to do if people don't make that deadline. They may just be dropped altogether, since it'll be barely more than a month left before Christmas, and people still need time to shop & ship.

If not, here it is:

Nesman85 cleared up the confusion for me...then one post later I again maintained I was the one at fault, (refer to myself as having malfunctioning brain).

BTW...I got your email, but did not write back to it because it was a personal email adress, I didn't see DP or your name in the protocal...as a rule I don't reply such emails because for all I know, you might have been at a friends or family members house, If this were the case, I'm sure they would not want emails from a perfect stranger arriving their home. I've had several bad experiences with this kind of thing in the past. :grin:
