I thought the Sonic Collection was supposed to be a GC exclusive?

Maybe it was just for a period of time and that time is over.

Anyone know?

Actually, I thought this collection was PS2 exclusive. I think we're all confused.

Well they call this "Plus" and it has thje Game Gear games, so I guess it makes it a "different" title and avoids the exclusivity.

*orgasms*

And there was a PC port of Sonic CD. PC ports are not hard to emulate on XB. See: Panzer Dragoon inside PDO. That was the PC version.

Awww... Dammit. NOW they put Comix Zone on it? I already have the Cube one. I got that at FULL PRICE.

It's not enough to make me wanna buy it just for that game, but I would have liked to have it on a modern system.

Oh well..

Comix Zone! Please god, let it have non-Genesis music...after playing the PC version (ol' fashioned MIDI) I honestly have trouble listening to this game's music.

the original for GC was an exclusive and it didnt have nearly that many games. then they announced a newer better one for ps2...which is the same one on xbox, but i dont think the ps2 version has all the gamegear games and knuckles add-ons

Here's a similar topic from a week ago discussing the PS2 version of the game:

I'm actually somewhat glad to hear this. I already own the GC version, but I would like to have the Game Gear Sonic games without buying Sonic Adventure DX on the GC (I already have the original on DC). And to get this collection on Xbox for only 20 bucks is nice.

Flicky

Ristar

Well Flicky ties in, cause the main character is the same kind of blue bird that is among the animals Sonic usually rescues in the games. Plus the Japanese version of Sonic 3D Blast apparently had the subtitle of Flicky's Island or something like that.

Ristar is also loosely related into sonic somewhat like NiGHTS in a way, just a "related" game with no true direct linking. One of the early sonic prototype ideas would have basically played like ristar...back when he was a bunny.
