And this whole time I thought that the slot was just for a memory card or ram booster.....silly me. x_x

Wth r u talking about? O_O The cartridge slot is ONLY for a memory card or ram booster...... I've tried to put a genesis cart in and it wouldn't fit

I don't get it.
You've got a dozen or so genesis games in your hand. You also have a Saturn. You can't take two seconds to see if they even fit?

There are no Saturn Games for this Set. All items/games are in excellant condition, fully cleaned and tested! You will not be disappointed with this one!

i know that the slot does not play genesis games, but until i started spending time on DP i didnt know that....for the longest time i thought the saturn was backwards compatable with the genesis....silly me

Surprising your not the only one that thought the saturn was backward combatiable. I met about 4 or 5 people locally about 3 years ago who all thought the same. I shoved a Genesis cart in there and they finally believed me. :D
