Any intrest in a DP XBox Live group?

When I went to my local EB to pick up Madden 2005 for the XBox, I let myself be talked into getting XBox live as well. It's not a bad deal -- a year paid for, the headphone, and the game Crimson Sky for $70.

I signed up today and tried a game of Madden online. Very smooth and stable. No glithces or problems I could see. And a lot of fun.

I was thinking, who else here is signed up with XBox Live and plays games online? I'd LOVE to match wits aganist some of you.

How about a sign up thread -- your XBox tag name, what games you play online, and anything else you feel is important.

I'd REALLY love to see if we could get a tournament going for Madden or NCAA Football. That would be a blast. :D

I think it is. It's faced paced, so the rounds don't last very long. It's great fun when you've got friends on both teams.

I'm pretty eclectic on Xbox Live, and I've got a few gamertags of people here already (tholly and I believe ehall?) but I usually stick to Unreal 2 since it's the game I'm probably the best at and have a clan on. Anyhoo:

Good to hear of the Unreal love, DrJustinRamone. The group of friends I play with regularly have two faves: PGR2 and Unreal Championship. Even though I've yet to convince any of them to get Unreal 2, we are looking forward to UC2.

There's just so many variations to playing UC that it can't get old. If anyone things it's gotten stale, try playing with some modifiers. The one-shot kill modifier is a fave of mine.

Unreal 2 eXpanded Multi Player (U2XMP) is a great game for anyone who's already got U2 for PC. It's not like UT2k4, it's got its own rules and methods and vehicles, and it's a lot of fun. Very Tribes-inspired.

XBox U2 multi is u2XMP on that platform, a great game.

You can't play Ninja Gaiden online but you can download the Hurricane patch thingie for it. It'll make the game play harder and add some new enemies, costumes and a wep or so I hear.

XBox Live is a blast. I will be picking up madden soon also. Im shocked to hear that Madden ran smooth with no glitches. Since EA is running their own servers for all their XBL games, there was a problem with the servers for the first EA release which was NCAA Football, but Im glad to know they have fixed them.

I have yet to see ANYONE on Crimson Skies when I'm playing. But then, I'm usually on at like 1 am, so....

Maybe we should organize an Xbox Live Crimson Skies match finally? I'm down with next tuesday at like 10 pm or something. Team dogfight, or FFA, or whatever. I'm down.

Maybe we could make it a more regular thing if it pans out, do some mechassault or halo 2 or something in the future
