Yes, I know the rarity guide says $85, but how much does it tend to sell for on eBay? I have a friend who recently bought it, but I believe he paid around $120. I don't need anything special. I just want a normal used copy in excellent condition, no spinecard necessary. I might be able to get it for $70 + shipping, but considering I don't even have a Turbo Duo yet, it has to be a really spectacular deal for me to go for it. o_O

Oh, and I apologize to Ed if he's already seen me asking this elsewhere. :P

Generally anywhere between $100.00 to $150.00 on Ebay. I sold a NM non spine one for $130.00 on there about 3 or 4 months ago. Your probably better off tring to get one somewhere other than Ebay.

Yeah, outside of eBay you can get em in the $75-100 bracket. I listed $85 because that's a fairly low but not uncommon price to find a decent copy at. I wouldn't spend more than around $110-120 at the high end on one that's MINT w/spine. It's a fairly common game, but the demand drives it up, much like Radiant Silvergun. eBay fluctuates pretty wildly on em...you might get lucky, might not.

I paid $200 for mine a few years back when there were less around and they were way harder to come by....and mine isn't mint and doesn't have the spine... :( But hey, the game is so good, I don't regret it!

This is one hell of an incredible game. For me personally I would probably max out at 120 if it was absolutely mint with the spine. I would jump on one in the 80-95 dollar range. The game is awesome but once you've beaten it and done the different pathways you'll probably never play it again.

actually I d/l and burnt CD-R for testing and was so impressed that I got the genuine copy off Yahoo Japan. Still cost me close to $100 but then I got Kazekiri from YJ for less than $40 so it wasn't so bad.. :)

Sometimes the spine card can fetch the disc another $10-30. Weird, but whatever. I'd love to get an original of this....I believe it's the only console game I play a burnt copy of.

Thankfully most of the ones you see don't have the speincards so that can help if you want to save a little money.

Dracula X is one of the few games so spectacular that it's worth the high collector's price. It's THAT good.

Plus it hasn't been mentioned that you can play as both a Belmont and Maria. There's also those extra people you can rescue if you want to.

Maria KICKS ASS. It makes Richter so lame in comparison...she can double jump, has the birds that can hit four times if done right, she's faster, smaller and has bad ass summons. It's just unfair. When I fought Shaft, I murdered him with the cat. Then Shaft's ghost saw the return of the cat. Taken out even in death by the cat....hilarious.

You and me, bro... :P

I paid $170 for one that had a not outstanding manual (not terrible, just a bit worn) a while back, and $199 for a sealed copy a while back.

One thing to think about is that this is probably one of the most pirated games out there - buying one that's actually used with some wear might be a safeguard against getting taken for a ride by some pirate :P
