This morning I was goofin with my wife and my 5 yr old son comes in. I told him tomorrow was the Gamecubes birthday, and we decided we should celebrate. We decided a birthday cake was in order, since all good birthday parties have one when you are 5. We also thought it would be appropriate to play lots of Mario Party as well.
Is anybody else having any festivities?

Tomorrow also happens to be my birthday, so I'll be celebrating both by Taking two midterms and writing a 7 page paper! Woohoo!

While yours might be more productive, I think mine will be more fun, after my festivities, it is my Dart League night, so beer will be on the agenda, I will have one for both you and the GC.
Happy Birthday!

I'll celebrate when they reduce the price to $49.99 which is when I'll buy one. SEGA! LOL

Well, I'm home sick with a cold (day 4 and it's barely getting better). Maybe after lunch I could plug in my GCN and load in some of my games (now, which ones? The only Nintendo-released game I have is Animal Crossing). Of course, the ultimate way to celebrate would be to get Metroid Prime, but I'm cash-strapped and sick.

I bought the GC on it's "Launch Day"...the first time I ever bought a system on the day it came out, I think. Of course, Metroid Prime is scheduled to come out today, I think...I likely won't get it today (I am getting the Nintendo Power Metroid Prime package deal and doubt it'll arrive today) but I may just celebrate with playing a bunch of games on it. I could celebrate by playing every GameCube game I have...but don't know if I could play 28 different games in one day... O.o
