Depends on how hardcore you are about cases/instructions. I wouldn't have bought it because I don't like loose cds in my collection, but as far as the money for the games it's a pretty good deal. Congrats

Yes, that is WELL worth the riskl. Panzer, Bug, and Sonic 3d are all very good games and even loose are worth $5 each.
I like boxed games but I realley just couldnt pass this up since i only have 4 saturn games. I have about a 50/50 chance of all these games working

Panzer Dragoon alone is worth the $5. Hopefully they'll all work.

It's pretty rare for Saturn games not to work even if they have a bnuch of scratches on them. You could always try cleaning the CDs if you have problems with any of them.

Nice deal there, not bad at all. Personally I am HARDcore about case/instructions for anything but it's still a great price for some really good games.

Nice deal! Just hope none are demos, I know that Panzer Dragoon and Nights demo disks look just like those there...but i think the originals look the same as well.
Either way you still get a great deal!

I am not to anal about case and instructions....now I wish I would have seen the auction. O_O
There always the chance that the good games are scratched beyond repair and well 11$ for all this i think i Need to get it :D at least the auction came with hard cases for the games :D

Even if they are scratched you could always get them repaired as long as the label sides not damage.
Whats the label side have to do with it?

Thats were the actual info is held. Lite and even most deep gashs can be repaied but if you have any damage don't to the label side (deep cut ect) then it's beyond repair. I myself have had many games repair at such places as collectors house of cards and games, estarland land ect. Give them a try sometime if you have an ugly game or one that skips.
I know a place thats fixes/repaorr cds but Lets just hope every single one of those games are in pristine condition...but thats a long shot :o

Whats the label side have to do with it?
The way i understand it, in relative layman terms:
The label side is actually the worst place for a scratch. When there is a bad enough scratch there, the data is gone forever.
When there is a scratch on the bottom, the beam of lazer light is scattered before it reaches the actual data in behind, but the data is still there. So if you can restore the bottom surface of the disk so that the lazer gets straight through again, it can find the data still intact and return it to the system for processing.
The label side is harder to scratch than the bottom side but it is impossible to fix if the scratch on the label side reaches through to the layer where the data is stored. Very often, scratches on the bottom are fixable. Unless they are really deep and would require a great deal of polishing. Usually though, the data is still there.
Basically, the data is directly underneath the label.
So basically too deep BAD not so deep EH and if its deep on the label @_@

hehehh ya. pretty much.... :moon:
general rule of thumb though is that scratches on the bottom are not serious compared to a smiliar scratch on the label side

I bought a lot of 6 loose Saturn games when I first got my Saturn. One was DOA and two are scratched enough to sometimes freeze up or glitch. The DOA was Sega Rally which i've since replaced for cheap and complete but the first copy had some of the silver material on the top side flaked off so it was totally unplayable
Looks like a real nice lot of games, hope they all work for you. :)
Also the loose games are sometimes good to play so you can keep your minty fresh completes from getting wear and tear.
