I don't know if anyone has already posted this but I just read this on nintendo.com

Nintendo has announced plans for the Japanese release of the games Mother 1 and 2 on a single Game Boy Advance pak.

Mother 1-- the game that started it all-- has never been released in the United States.

Mother 2 was called EarthBound when it was released for the Super NES

No word yet on a North American version, but stay tuned!

pretty cool.. I hope that we see it in the US..

I'm I the only one that could never get into those games?

I've never even played 'em. Anybody have a ROM and an English ips patch?

Mother 1+2 has already been out in Japan for over a year. It came out in June of 2003. Chances of a US release are highly doubtful.

Yea you can get roms of the NES and Snes ones if you want to. The Snes one was official released here where as there's only betas of the official NES onw. There is a translation patch of the NES but I'm not really going to get into the finer details on that one.

Mother (AKA Earthbound Zero) is one of the most infamous of the prototype game stories.

As for the game itself? It plays fine and is fun, but I got stuck too easily in that. Never went back to finish it.

Earthbound is fun, though.

Earthbound is one of my favorite games of all time. I bought an N64 just because Earthbound 64 was supposed to come out for it. When it was canned, I regretted purchasing my N64... even to this day.

"Earthbound Zero" isn't as good as Earthbound, but I love it too. I've been playing it in between a bunch of other games on my laptop, and I have decided that I must beat it.

If this game comes out for the GBA, I will actually purchase one... If not, I will continue to be happy with my original Game Boy :)

If you want Earthbound Zero, and the collector in you desires an actual cartridge, leonk is your man.

Got that site to work and downloaded the gamez. These are pretty cool. Not the be-all end-all, but it's certainly something different. It's nice to see a decent game set in the "modern" world. Reminds me of Startropics + Maniac Mansion + Final Fantasy.

My bad.
It's Edge Emu (www.edgeemu.com)
I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone who's not donated though, as I've been told the popups are really bad (Or if you have popup software). Yes, I donated.

Popups can be avoided by placing null addresses (127.0.0.1) in the hosts file under c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc... I got a few until I got the server names and then blocked 'em.
