Sega Saturn internal Memory Problems

Hello, i have a Sega Saturn here. the internal memory doesnt work, ive tried buying a new batter for it, then it works for like the first few times i turn it on, then goes back to date at startup. ive tried cleaning the battery holder thing. and still no use.

anyone know what could be causing this and/or solutions to this?

Maybe it's just a bad battery. You could maybe try getting another as there pretty cheap to get.

ive tried more then 4 batteries, all brand new.
