Sega Saturn GameShark questions....

I have already a Action Replay 4in1 (and modchip) although it's an early revision unfortunately so I will have do do a modification on it in order for it to run 4meg Saturn games. Also I have not been able to get cheat codes to work with it on my Pirated-copied CDR games (maybe that will also work after the mod?). Anyway the original Interact Gameshark seems to be a little more rare than the Pro 4in1/5in1 carts and was wondering if any of you Saturn collectors actually HAVE a Saturn Gameshark? If so could you inform me:

Is the 4meg on board just for storage saves OR does it run 4meg games also?
Do the cheat codes work on CDR games? (I'd say "backups" but I know I will be corrected so I'm telling it like it is)
Lastly, does it boot different region games? (I heard it does with a code)?

I'm not sure that those carts can do those various things (cheat codes AND region switching) at the same time.

I region mod my Saturns, so I've never tried.

You know backups are fine you know. Less detail x_x can be a good thing. Use your head.

I agree about less detail, I usually say Backups but then find someone always going on about them not being backups unless you have the original etc, etc, so I decided instead of lying about having the original I'd just be honest from the start. Anyway, whatever, damned if you do, damned if you don't. I am not complaining, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that, heck at least I get a lot less flack about it here than most forums!

AFAIK no cheat/import cart can play CD-R backups on Saturn. You need the mod chip for that and it's tricky business to get one working as there are so many variations of Saturn, not counting M1 and M2 variant...

A Saturn Gameshark will boot up different region games. All you do is hold down the XYZ buttons and press start, hold XYZ as it loads up a game, such as Japanese imports.
