With the upcoming US release of Donkey Konga, I found myself missing the old Samba fun, and figured I would see if anyone was up for an inetresting trade. I only have a few rarities (if they even still are in some respects) but I figured I would see if anyone was open to a deal. What I have:

Playstation - Nothing is warez or copies. All originals w/notes as needed, all complete

Intelligent Qube
Xenogears - 2 copies
Front Mission 3 w/guide
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - 1 Classic version (black case), 1
Greatest hits version
Vagrant Story w/guide
Tomba
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
Tobal No. 1 - Obviously not a "big" collector game, but it has the first FF7 demo.
Nectaris: Military Madness
Vanguard Bandits - 2 copies
No One Can Stop Mr. Domino
Brigandine - Case has a small chip/blemish and the cover looks as if a few centimeters has been slcied in an even line. No clue why. I got it because I collected strategy games.

Dreamcast - Same stuff as Playstation (no copies, all complete, notes added)

Bangai-O - Treasure shooter, crazy hard as usual
Skies of Arcadia - Sealed, brand new

Basically, what I am proposing is a fair deal trade with whatever might strike your fancy from the above list in return for a set of maracas. The aftermarket ones are suspect from my experience, and going to eBay doesn't thrill me much as most auctions seem to be in Japan. Let me know if this is a possiblity or if I am just dreaming.

Finally for feedback, I haven't really completed any deals here before since I usually only lurk. My only other time at a sale was with my TB-16 about a year or more ago. I am a long (very long term) person from Ars Technica and have great Beerology feedback there. A poster here named 'omnedon' vouched for me the first time I came and posted. I have old Heatware, which I don't really reference since I stay at Ars, but it was good as well as the seldom used eBay account (ashnliz) which is great too. Summed up, I am not a regular here, but I'm not some troll either :)

just let you know official box set won't be cheap for shipping alone as it's rather big item and awkward to pack safely. I got mine from local seller because of that and paid close to $130 inc. JPN Samba de Amigo 2000 sealed copy.

$100+ plus S/H seems to be norm and you would have better luck finding a seller in your area.

On Yahoo Japan if you are lucky you could get box set only for around $40-50 but usually they ended up at around $80+ mark...

cheers

I picked mine up spankin new for $100 from a local retailer a couple of months ago. Sometime in there, and I felt blessed. I probably could have gotten them slightly cheaper on ebay but shipping would be a pain and they would be used. I still haven't used the set I have since I don't even have the game to accompany them yet. Anyways, check out the website for mcvan's games. I'm not sure of their actual website and it's out there, I'm sure. They're located in Ft. Wayne indiana and I'm sure they should have another set or two in one of their many locations across indiana. They WON'T be listed on their website, call and ask...Might be your best bet as I know they ship and they will be sealed. Might not fall into the trade category either, but most people with official ones are going to hold onto them. Just my thoughts, good luck finding a set though...
