TG16 Bonk RPG?

I remember reading in an EGM mag way back around '93 about a Bonk Role Playing Game. I think they called it Bonk 4 (Just a tentative name) but It was never released, and I have since always wondered if there was a proto-type.

Could someone please fill me in on this, as it would be information to something I've pondered about for years now.

Well, this was in an old EGM I read back in '93... possibly '94. I can't remember which issue it was, but am I to believe no one else remembers it? That could be a possiblity. :o

I remember asking this same question over at Turbo Zone Direct (Again, I was younger) and they had heard about it but couldn't supply any info.

I'd say this little nugget is a strange oddity of the gaming world that hasn't been looked into enough.

Curse me for not saving my old EGMs....that does sound very cool. Any EGM mag collectors willing to check out all the '93 and '94 issues for us....maybe get us a page scan?

You could maybe try searching the Turbo list and see if they have any info on it.

That was actually the first thing I tried. No such luck, which actually only makes me wonder more about the history behind this title.

The information and screenshots you seek are right on the Turbo List page under "Unreleased". Game was not finished according to BT Garner, the maintainer of the List. Could ask David Shadoff, but he'll probably say the same thing.
