Is this the same game system that someone else started a thread last week about seeing at Best Buy?

looks like a reworking of the radica sports stand alone tv games, and sure enough if you go to corp homepage they list radica as an associate. if you mess around on their japanese homepage (there are english sections) you can view more screenshots and info. whats up with bowling ball thing? do you throw it, if so isnt that living room unfriendly, and if you dont throw it isnt that lame?

I work at Radio Shack and I heard about this new sytem from my boss that we will carry. It's called the XaviX, looks interesting and cool too. It plays sports games and comes with the equivalent sports equipment (wireless). I will definately know more about this in a week or two. It looks like some pretty enjoyable sports sims, I wonder if they plan to release a bunch of games or just a small line. It will be interesting as this rolls out. Check out the link to the XaviX website and post your thoughts and opinions.

Everyone is so stiff, I would like to at least try it out. It looks fun for a group of friends or a party. 8-)

I work at best buy and have to carry the fucking little bat and baseball and trade if off so it doesn't get "stolen". LIke someone is really looking to jack the bat. And it is not fun. I have shown it people and we both shared a good laugh.

*yawn* whats for dinner.
Beef.

That looks interesting and all, but it reminds me of all of those crappy games made by Tiger Electronics.

I saw that at best buy once...I couldn't figure out how to work it. If it ever gets something besides sports games, I'll look into it.

I expect 90% more extreme xavix technology (from xavic products) ear perking when i hear of a cricket pack released ( i cant imagine soccer working.. safely). Any word on pricing ?

I can't wait for the XTREME Curling edition.

Invite some buddies over, give them some brooms, watch the hours fly by.

I was telling Mr. Tower - name Xavix makes me think the system should have a great manic spaceship shooter.

If the system allowed you to pilot in Gradius with a Vic Viper hat, I'd be all over this! Unfortunately, that's not the case...what a shame :(

Screw the system, I'd still want the hat.

Well, since there isn't any goofy hat anyway...back to mooning over the DS.

Yeah, it's 80$ for the base unit and $50 dollars for each game. Which = an amount of money you can buy much better stuff with.

i was interesting in this thing, but definitely not at that price....the most i would pay is $20 for the main system and $10 for the games.....ill wait until it gets bargain bined
