Hey gang!

In case anyone missed the announcement on the front page, Virtual CGE will return this year with plenty of fun for those who couldn't make it out west. At the Virtual CGE webpage, (http://www.digitpress.com/cge) you'll find links to keynotes from past years' CGEs, as well as the ever-popular Virtual CGE Game Releases! (This year, it's the games released at CGE 2003 and 2002!) There is music to listen to and the live webcam beaming scenes from the CGE floor as it happens!

And since Yours Truly - former CGE Game Show Quizmaster - is here this year, I've agreed to run a few contests and games over Saturday and Sunday for the Digital Press gang here! And there will be prizes for the winners, so you might want to dust off the ol' brain for a few Sniderman Contests! (Including one contest that I'm calling "The World's Biggest Game of Dragon's Lair.")

Stay tuned to the CGE Forum here and watch for posts marked [VIRT CGE] for details. And be sure to check in all weekend long for Virtual CGE games and surprises. I guarantee it'll be like being there - only here! :D

Hello fellow unfortunate souls who were unable to attend CGE2K4. Just bumping up this thread to let you know that the Virtual CGE webcam is up and running! Hoorah! Just click the link in Sniderman's post above and enjoy the butts and arms and awkward shots from afar. :D

What are the blue items they're selling at the table? I can't tell what they are because the picture is so blurd.

I'd bet those are the lovely and marvelous new DP Advance Guides, were I a betting man.

IT's a good thing you are not a betting man.. I'd put my money on it being that INTV homebrew

wait a tick.. the items there are both blue, but they are not the same.. I think around lunch they were the new DP post neo-classic guides and now they have the homebrew there.

Well, I've been sitting at my PC working pretty much all night.. and aside from the occasional person (and I do mean occasional) I have seen guys in DP shirts standing alone, and then an empty hall.

Hey, I was there today, that dude in the picture was trying to buy my Colecovision cartridge stickers. Sorry man that I didn't sell them to you.
I made out with ~$160 of sales of my tradebait. Woohoo!

I can confirm that those blue things are copies of stonix. The DP guides were between the stonixes and where the webcam was sitting during that pic.

The webcam was on top of a pile of the DP Advances :)
