There's one of these for 50 bucks at a local thrift store. It's boxed(badly) and it works(I pressed a button, and a light came on. It looks to be an education system. Is this worth anything?

I passed up a boxed one of those for like $7 from an Ohio Thrift a few months back. I'm pretty sure that all/most V-Tech stuff is worthless.

There is one at a thrift over here for $3-5. It's been there for at least a month.

I paid 8.00 for a boxed mint one....it's not really worth anything but it's just something neat to have. LOL
50.00...laugh at them and tell them to die...it's the nice thing to do.

Not worth fifty bucks. Not by half. Paid $10 at Goodwill for a boxed system including the drawing pad accessory and cartridges. And I can tell you from personal experience that even if the main unit powers up, there might still be a problem with the keyboard...mine doesn't input number 2. It's a cool system if you've got kids and want them use it as an education aid, but beyond that fugeddabout it (and definitely not for $50!).
