I'm trying to decide whether or not I should bring my Asteroids marquee to see if I can get Ed Logg to sign it for me. Are there any plans for organized autograph sessions or is it just going to be a free for all?? I don't want to miss the opportunity, but I really don't want to travel with something that fragile.
Anyone know how it's going to work?

It is probably worth it. In previous year I have seen people bring marquees and get the signed. The speakers do autographs.

It's a pretty loose event. Most of the speakers goof around the show floor just like everyone else. Go ahead and bring it.

I didn't find getting autographs a problem in 2002, although I just had the celebs sign a program (I didn't plan ahead enough to bring anything).

There was a bit of an autograph "common feeder line" last year, when I got my Q*Bert marquee signed by Warren Davis. You shouldn't have a problem getting the Asteroids marquee signed at all.
P.S. Bring one of those silver metallic ink pens.

That was my next question, how to write on plexi! Thanks for the advice guys. I'll pull it off tonight and see about getting it wrapped up for travel!

I'm thinking I'll get people to autograph my DP guide that I'm getting there...that should serve in a pinch when I have nothing else to work with :D

This may sound kinda stupid...but,should I bring my Vectrex in the hopes of getting it autograghed by Jay Smith? Thing is a bit heavy.

If you're driving, knock yourself out. If you were flying...no way would I do that.
Maybe have him autograph your controller or something. If you're going to lug the whole unit in, make a special trip up to your room to fetch it, and take it back to the room once you've gotten it signed. Assuming you're staying at the same venue as the Expo.

You could even just bring an overlay to save on space in a big way...
Or a Vectrex owners manual, if you have one.
