It was called Antique and Auction Store. It was in Coos Bay Oregon.

From the looks of it, the kind that now has mostly bare shelves ;)

Good finds, Good times.

Good finds, Good times.

They had a complete (no box) Atari 5200, PSX, and some Nintendo hard plastic system cases. The case worked for the NES and the SNES.

Wow. What a find! I love going to antique store, if even not for video games. So how much for everything? You cant give us a find like that without a price.

damn goddit! In my state! unbelievible find man. I search high and low and can't find squat and someone comes out of state and snatches up all the good stuff. An excellent find.

Note to self: Search all the small antique stores at the coast.

That's bigger than lots of folks' game collections, plus how much of it's sealed? Amazing.

Yes, very nice.

But how much :D

tynstar
08-19-2004, 11:37 AM
OK since so many people have asked.

I bought 8 games for $40. Then when I was being checked out I asked how much and the guy said said $200. Then I spent another $25 on shipping.

So thats $265 for the lot.

The beach towns up and down the Oregon coast are great for video game hunters. I've never seen a lot like that but I did score my CIB 32X at beach shop in Seaside and I've seen other things of interest in my travels between Seaside and Tillamook.

Rural Oregon is another good place for video game hunting, especially the Goodwill in the sticks. For instance many of the mom and pop video rental shops still have N64 and PS1 titles for rent. :)

So that works out to about $1.50 each game (most sealed), excluding systems, controllers, etc

It's a lot of money to part with at once, but it looks like it was worth it.
