I know what the inside of the Intellivision 1 controller is like, but I wanted to know if the all the internals of the Intellivision 2 controllers are the same as an Intellivision 1 controller? Excluding the side-action buttons, spring, buttons, disc, and the cord/cordhousing.

Basically, is the MPCB the same or is it even an MPCB?

I want to know because I want to tear apart one of my crappy Inty 2 controllers to steal the MPCB layers to fix a Inty 1 controller. I already know that once I have ripped apart the inty 2 controller it is as good as dust. Well, not necessarily dust, but I don't think I care enough about the inty 2 controller to actually put it back together after.

Totally different in every way.

Inty 2 controllers suck, and are hard hard HARD to fix. Inty MPCB's can be repaired, but it's painstaking stuff using a multimeter, and some rear window defroster repair kit.

Essentially, you are repairing continuity breaks in the folds. It's really hard to disassemble an Inty2 controller without damaging it further.

The reason I asked is because I have an Inty 1 controller with no internals. ie. no MPCB, and people aren't just walkin around giving them away. LOL

If the MPCB on the Inty 2 was the same I was just going to rip apart one of the crappy ones I have for the parts I need.
