there are no cheat codes for those games. the only way to get them is with action replay....i played that game for 6 months+ spending at least 4 hours a day on it....they just dont exist.
i have every single e-reader card for the game...all four series..every card....(just to show how crazy i was about the game)
there are no such cheat codes.....
...if there really is a zelda cheat code, PM it to me....if it works, i will gladly paypal you the money....as you can see by my amount of posts i am trustworthy and pretty well known on here...so, sending me the code before i send the money is no big deal and you should not be worried about it.....
....please, prove me wrong with these codes.....

Well one thing I learned, if you wanna get Donkey Kong 3 and Punch Out easily, is create a new town and character on a 2nd memory card...go over there...tell tom nook the code and bingo...we got Punch-Out! and Donkey Kong 3

Ok, ok. I will offer a challenge to anyone. I'll give you the code for Zelda first, and if you get it in the game, you owe me a dollar.

Ok, I sent an email of it. I tried it 3 times, and it works perfectly. Here's a screenshot at Nook's place.

the only reason you got that to work was because of using the user name Lao and town Tzu. im not sure the exact reason that name works, but i think it was a developers set up. there is no possible way to get Legend Of Zelda by using a code. the only way is to use an Action Replay or some other sort of cheat disc. The game is unsendable to anyone's town.
sorry, it was a good try though.

Wait just a moment... look, I don't care about the dollar anymore, but it worked, didn't it? All you have to do to is use it with the "Punchout methods" below, and it's yours.
The only downside is that the code is not universal. I still have it in my saved game though.
METHOD 1: For those with a spare memory card
Start a game with the following names:
Character: (space)Lao
Town: Tzu
After you do the errands, tell Tom Nook this code:
3 E c 5 z a 9 x Y c x k L m
y Y R 9 r y 0 z % u c J 6 V
Then just travel to this new town with your old character and pick the game up, whether through Lao's gyroid, or just leaving it on the ground.
METHOD 2: For those with GBA link capabilities
Turn the game on without any memory cards, and just start without saving.
Start a game with the following names:
Character: (space)Lao
Town: Tzu
After you do the errands, tell Tom Nook this code:
3 E c 5 z a 9 x Y c x k L m
y Y R 9 r y 0 z % u c J 6 V
Then, go to your GBA island. Keep talking to the islander until the islander offers to buy Punch-Out from you. Save the island, then load your regular town. Go to the island and keep talking to the islander (it might take a LOT of talking) until they give you Punch-Out.
1 down, 4 to go. People at the gamefaqs message boards are working hard on cracking the code to get passwords for Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. before Nintendo releases them. And sorry, you can't transfer Punch-Out to the GBA's flash memory.
Also, would you pay $30 for a cheesy UK unlicensed product or a $1 just to know the code? Sure, it's not a Universal Code, but it is guaranteed to work.

Am I missing something?

Yes, there is a code for LoZ, and you use it like you would for Punch-out. I do have the code, but I'm charging a dollar for it.

Why the hell charge a dollar for it? Why not just give it to people?
Ah wait, with that dollar, you can buy mass amounts of gummie bears.

Is anyone here polite? x_x You can laugh and make fun all you want; I can take it. However, this code does exist. I have never found this code on google. If eBay allows me to sell this code, the winner will leak the info eventually, and you will get your hands on it. However, I will make a profit from this. That's all I have to say.

Nah don't worry about it, it's all fun and games bro. Profit is good regardless of how or where it comes from. It's all good :)

Has anyone actually tried this code he has yet? I for one think it won't work.
If it did exist, DarkLao would of posted it on the gamefaq boards, where he poasted the Punch Out one, that he created for his chacter and town. That is where Lao in Tzu came from.
The only way I see this code being legit, is if he has an action replay, or used it on his file.
The game is atainable and tradeable if both people have an action replay, which defeats the purpose of having to trade for it, cause you allready have it.
But please prove me wrong, I have been waiting sense this game came out to play LOZ in it.

I can't say I don't believe you,but you can get some other games using the same method. And,instead of going through all that, wouldn't you rather have a UC or another code?

Look, being as I'm the guy who wrote the original public-domain code generator that's been around since December '03, I want to give you the benefit of the doubt. I really do.
However, first let me set one thing straight - there is nothing mystical or special about Lao in Tzu. It just so happened that there was a fluke where he somehow managed to get a standard NES contest code - the same kind of contest code that Nintendo has been generating on the Animal Crossing website for ages now for things like Clu Clu Land D and most recently Soccer. Let me repeat: There's nothing special about it other than the fact that it was the first unofficial NES contest code. There's nothing embedded into the code type that makes it any different from any other NES contest codes, and in fact my code generator can make a Punchout code for you if you just enter in your player name, town name, and the Punchout item number (which you can find in the item list on my webpage).
Furthermore, the game runs a check on items obtained by the NES contest code. In fact, it has a list of fifteen possible NES games that can be obtained via a NES contest code, and guess what? Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., and Ice Climber are not in that list. They are the four games out of 19 in the game that were omitted from the list that the game checks against. Punchout was not omitted, so it's fair game. I repeat, it is a physical impossibility to receive Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., or Ice Climber via a NES contest code. Period.
Also, the line that Tom Nook is saying in the screen shot is not even what he says upon receipt of a NES contest code, so obviously if this code is real, it wasn't made via the NES contest code type, so any of you theorizing about parallels between it and the whole Lao/Tzu fiasco are kindly requested to shut your trap.
At any rate, as I wrote the homemade code generator in the first place, I will actually pay Immutable not one, not five, but ten dollars if this code actually works. No strings attached other than the fact that it'll take a couple days for me to get the money together, so payment may not be instantaneous. Send me the code, and if it works, you will be ten dollars the richer, and will have all manner of gummi bears available to you with this ten dollars. Period.

Adding to what MoggleGuy said, there are a ton of people on the GameFAQ/Spot boards asking how to get the F4 and Punchout. A contest code can be used to get Punchout, but there are no codes for the F4. The CodeGen can generate codes for them, but they will NOT work. Also, the AR can mess up your game and cause strange things, like this.

Ok, I just deleted the eBay auction having used the code without the AR memory card in slot B. Now here's how I got the code...
1) I bought an AR, and used a couple codes to unlock the rare NES games and make a ton of furniture purchasable.
2)I was able to make pieces of furniture accessable to Nook and "hear the code" for Zelda, specifically for tholly's character then mine.
3) tholly's didn't work, but mine did with that AR memory card in slot B.
I thought the code would work without it and made a big stink. But now, having tried it without the AR card, I finally realize my error. So just to let you know there was a code that worked, but it completely defeats the point of my thread....
so...
If you were interested in the code and have an AR, then you would be able to get this code to work to get Zelda.
NAME: (space)Lao
TOWN: Tzu
3Ec5zh9sY0#kLm
ZY&9#y0VkucQnV
but like I said it completely defeats the idea of being a stand-alone code.
...my sincerest apologizes.

Yeah, it's technically a valid code, but the fact is the game simply won't take it.
