Hey All,
Geofury is taking pre-orders for his NEW Vecrex game I, CYBORG. Here is a link to his site which offers screenshots and a video of the game:
http://geovector.tripod.com
The game is 32k! This is massive for a Vectrex game. If you check out the screenshots and video you will see that the game will be liked the unreleased Vectrex RPG Dark Tower. I, Cyborg will be every bit as good as Protector (Hebert) and Gravtitrex (Dondzila). It will be a limited release so get an order in to make sure you get a low numbered cart.
Regards,
Nubian.

You are a Cyborg, wrongfully imprisoned for alleged crimes against the Robot Empire. For two long years you have secretly been rebuilding your shattered energy cells from within your prison chamber, all the while becoming extremely bitter and angry!
Today is Reckoning Day. Dissect the robot force, and ultimately come face-to-face with the most hideous robotic nightmare of all...Prince Thunderhead!
That has to be one of the best stories I've ever seen written up for a video game, let alone one on one of the Old Guard systems. :rocker:
Don't have a Vectrex, but this sounds awesome.

Hey All,
Only 13 days to the release of what will probably be the best Vectrex game ever made (I, CYBORG). See top of this thread for ordering information.

Homebrewing...
One of the very few good things to come out of the 1990s.

I have my copy in hand... haven't been able to play much through it, though. Looks cool so far. Does this support analog, or does it just do a good job of faking it?
Hi Chad...no analog. I tried it initially, and it just wasn't all that hot. A lot of the game deals with control stick movements, especially when avoiding certain enemies/obstacles. Iin correlation with the enemy/obstacle routines, analog controls became problematic very quickly...so it was removed. I probably could have left in analog for the left/right movements of the cyborg, but it too was somewhat annoying (like Hyperchase). The game is much better without it.

Cool. I tried it both with a regular Vectrex controller and with a PS1 dual shock (and the ps1-vectrex adapter) and it was kind of hard to tell.
