It's coming along slowly but surely. I've a long way to go to compete with many of the cool games rooms in the games room photo arcvhive though!

It doesn't have to be HUGE to look nice, and your collection looks NICE!
Love the setup, the old model TV's and computers are sweet...and so is that Pit Fighter arcade!
A CALCULATOR COLLECTION! THat's a first...can you give a little insight on them? Why you collect them and are any of them valuable?
Your collection get's an A+ in my book!
btw...I feel stupid for asking cause I see it all over the place...but who's the man on the red flag?

Maybe he collects them because, by pressing down a special key they play a little melody. ;)
Hey, you wore a shirt this time! ;)
Nice Maiden records. Oh, yeah and the games are cool too.

Anyone else amused by a Che Guevara flag hanging in a room that's a monument to materialism?
Nice collection.

Nice collection. I love the PAL Playstation cases. They look so much nicer on the shelf than the regular CD jewel cases we are stuck with.

About the calculators.......
My eBay name is retro-technology. I used to collect, or try to collect anything that was retro and electronic. Alas, it can't be done, well not unles you happend to have your own warehouse anyway.
Reluctantly I came to a decision to (mostly)only collect cartridge (and of course disc) based systems and games. i.e I have a C64 and an Atari 800xl, but only collect carts for them.
But, I have a soft spot for calculators still, they are small and take up less room than computers, most people don't collect them, so they can be picked up cheaply when found in the wild. I think they look cool, the RED led ones, especially.
The first electronic item that I ever owned was a TEXET red led, it cost me £8 of birthday money in the 1970's. So, that cabinet houses my calculators, for now, altopugh whenever I get a cool handhel;d it goes in there too.
My entire calculator collection isn''t that valuable, the most expensive one, is probably worth about £40, it's a Sinclair Oxford.
rare Texas Instrument ones do turn up in Bedford, as their U.K head office used to be here.

he helped Fidel Castro take over Cuba....and if you have seen Evita...hes one of the main characters (although technically Che was about 4 when the events in Evita took place in Argentina)

because Rage Against The Machine is a Communist band...and they love Che...so they put his pic on one of their t-shirts...now all the lil RATM fans run around with Che t-shirts on and have no idea who he is, what he did or what he stands for

Most uninformed post ever.
I hate +1'ing, but that was completely uncalled for.

I had some fun games on my ti-80 or 90 whatever number it was. With the games on there I'm amazed I actually passed my calculus 1, 2 and 3 courses.

Yup, there was an American magazine called
"Calculators and Computers Magazine" and they used to print games
for the programmable scientific calculators, the early T.I's had magentic memory strips, and you could save your program on there.

yeah it is a famiclone, I bought it on a home shopping channel on t.v, sold as a all in one old skool style gaming system, and they said "once the cartridge has been installed, do not attempt to remove it" O_O
#
the cart has about 86 classic games on it, after a while I got bored, and decided to pull the cart out, it took some wiggling, I got a craft knife, and very careully cut the plastic case a little around the cart slot, and found lo-and bheold, it took famicom carts no problem at all :)
