I have a SNES and i was just wondering if you need and adapter to play Japanese games on it.
If you have a cheep snes just cut the tabs out of the cartrage slot. Thats the only thing stopping you.

So its just a matter of craming the game into the system?
Yup. Oh and I'm pretty shure this topic comes up now and again so a tip, use the search tool to find the older topics, that way you'll know lickity split. :)

Well if you don't want to damage your SNES by removing the tabs, a game genie usually serves as an el cheapo converter.

Yeah that'll work. Or you can just cut the tabs. Just a little plastic tab. Won't harm nothin.

If it's a US snes then all it needs (as mentioned by everyone LOL ) instead of butchering the 2 plastic tabs take the snes apart and use a small pair of cutters and take your time, then use some nice soft sand paper to make it look nicccccce!!
Or if you wanna do what some people do, use a soldering iron and burn em' off LOL
I just noramlly use a blade and pear both tabs back, leaves a nice clean job! ;)
