OK, I just had a wacky, zany, nutty idea. Anyone who's at the show right now and online at the same time - and hey, I can tell there's at least a few of ya LOL - if you've got pictures to share, e-mail 'em to earl@thelogbook.com and I'll post 'em here for the folks at home, and of course make a note of whose pics are whose. (Let me know, if possible, what we're seeing too.) Try not to send any more than 5-7 megs at one time. X_x
For those who already have access to their own hosting from San Jose...well, knock yourselves out. I'm going ahead and declaring this a bandwidth-unsafe thread. :D

I would but just as I get comfortable along come these do gooders. They start dumping water on me so I won't dry out then they start trying to push me into the water. Bleh! LOL

I couldn't post LIVE pics from the show, but I did my best to get a lot of good ones anyway. And video clips, especially of the museum, the Activision panel, and Woz himself. 8-)
Incidentally the only thing Woz said about Breakout was "I'm not going to address Breakout" so that's why there's no video clip of it from the Q*A afterwards.

IIncidentally the only thing Woz said about Breakout was "I'm not going to address Breakout" so that's why there's no video clip of it from the Q*A afterwards.
FWIW we did ask Mr. Wozniak if the subject matter was sensitive (because his immediate dismissal of the question seemed to indicate that) but that wasn't the case at all. He stated that he needed more time to frame the story and with his scheduled keynote nearing its end he did not feel he had enough time to properly tell the story.
There's always next year :)

I 've only heard snippets of that story, and if I remember, much of it was heresay. I do remember it being a great story, though....wish I could hear the whole thing from Woz himself...

Great coverage! What are those tapes with the Atari Video Music?
Also, I'm not sure Jamie Fenton would appreciate you posting that picture of her! :hmm:

Thanks to all of you who posted pics and video clips of the show! Great, mouth-watering coverage. Damn, that was an impressive line-up of panels and speakers. I certainly missed a lot...well...there is always next year.

Holy crap!
A Super Monkey Ball arcade game? I'm afraid I wouldn't have talked to anyone the entire weekend if I was there and I found that! I've been wanting to play that ever since I first heard about it!

She agreed to it, so not my fault how it turned out!
Though yeah, it isn't the most flattering of pics now I'll admit... maybe I'll have a fiddle in Photoshop cos I've only just noticed it's a bit "revealing"! X_x
@downfall - Super Monkey Ball machine was @ Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
@AFGiant - I came over from the UK... you think you'd have to go far? ;)

That was fun. Mean, maybe. But it was fun. I'm glad I added the little smiley to our little message, that made it all better. LOL

Just got a look at your pics after all this time. Looks like you got a pic of a dork (me in the atari shirt :D) dragging along his wife and child for a little looksee in the museum.
Thanks for the memories.
Hope to make it again this year.

Thats the one.
My daughter already has her own wireless controller, since she soaked one of mine with slobber and broke it. She loves to play with it side by side with me when I am playing.
She will definitely grow up with a good heritage for the retro games. Hopefully one day she will have the same feeling for it that I and the rest of the posters here have for it. :)
Take care.
