exactly, it's a store display unit (PAL/SECAM version since it's in France)

Ultra rare? Ha! This guy (if it's him) has sold numerous units lately. New in box and loose as well. I should say that they are common now. He sold new ones for $300 to a couple of guys. There was a videogame shop in the US that was supposed to buy everything he got but they backed out.

I just got my M82 (NTSC) on ebay a few weeks ago for $203.50. I haven't had too much time to mess with it, but it doesn't seem to play alot of my carts.
