Saw this at AA.
On the one hand, I'm disappointed. I have been waiting forever. But on the other hand, this is a good idea as it would surely get drowned in a sea of hot titles this season. Not all of them can survive. But sad.. I really want to play!
Oh well, Halo 2 will be out less than a month later anyway.

I was planning on buying it since it has co-op...but maybe I will just get it for my PC.....never...would of imagined another big game being pushed back...so surprising :roll:

kinda disappointing that it will be delayed, as this game is one that i actually will be willing to pay full price for. oh well, with classes starting soon, all the games i have, and soon halo 2, its better that its delayed...ill have a chance to do other things first.

Why wait?This discussion has been had many numerous times and doesn't have to be repeated here. We all have our reasons for choosing our particular versions.

Those are also screenshots from a yeat unfinished project, so keep that in mind as well. I prefer the fact I can spend 50 and play the game no problem, as opposed to buying a new 2-400 dollar video card to get all the effects. Especially for a game that isn't very long. Co-op multiplayer is a big thing for me as well. Once some mods come out for the pc version I will pick it up, but not now.

I have the PC version, it's excellent! I'm very glad I got it...
...my only complaint is the scenery never seems to change. You're always in a dark factory. I don't mind switching between flashlight and gun (yeah, I know, there's a patch), I don't mind the darkness....but jeez at least give us a little different scenery. LOL
Still, game is worth every penny!
I will probably get doom 3. I am going to wait till it's on Xbox 2 or PS3 though. I don't think it's crazy to think that enhanced ports of Doom 3 will appear relatively early in those systems lifecycle. Before anyone jumps on me, I understand there is a chance that Doom 3 will never come out for xbox 2 or ps3.
