What's a diorama?

di·o·ram·a n. A three-dimensional miniature scene in which figures, stuffed wildlife, or other objects are arranged in a naturalistic setting against a painted background.

You mean you never had to make a diorama in elementary class out of a shoebox, some green army men, and a few plants torn out of your mom's garden? Felt like I was always making these for history and science classes.

Actually, I believe he was quoting Ralphy from The Simpsons. The voice is kinda lost in the translation to text. Although I heard it just fine as I read it.

They had tons of extra Princess Lea figures from last year. Nobody wanted the rest either. So what better to do then turn them in to mommys and black people! We threw a whole bunch of them in with some other crap and a lynx for $10 bucks. LOL

Sorry Tim, I couldn't resist! I heard Ralph Wiggum's voice in my head and was compelled to channel him.

Don't worry, buddy, you're still the only one I trust to inventory the glee club peanut brittle.

Hey, my cousin and I can be seen in that pic. I was the guy in the dark blue shirt.

Janice and I thought that the Leias could use some sprucing up. This was the third year they were at the expo, after all; they needed a new look :)

I heard there was some bad sushi. Ironically all my East coast friends chide me for eating sushi here in Omaha, they all say wow you're taking a risk that can't possibly be fresh. Then out on the West coast, look what happens! Suddenly I feel better about Omaha sushi. Ironic.

You'll note POG's lack of mentioning any of the bondage issues that came up surrounding these :-P

That's because S&M Leia turned into Leia the Mummy!

Here're all of my Expo photos uploaded, peruse at your leisure. I didn't take very many this year!
