After noticing an amusing typo on my copy of "Gundum" Battle Assault 2, I got to wondering if there are any cases of collectors paying more for a game with a unique printing error on its title or manual. Granted, I know that such things are worthless to people who collect action figures, but I thought I'd ask all the same. Has anyone ever bothered with a misprinted game box or manual just because it might be rare?

I suppose if you were a completeist you'd want to get every variation you could get your hands on. So yes, I would. :P

Wasn't there an F-1 racing game for the N64 that had two versions of the box? One had logos airbrushed from the driver's helmets and the other left them in, IIRC.

I have a version of Pole Position for the 2600 that's spelled Pole Positn* and I'm looking for the version labeled Ploe Position. I also have a Pocket Billiards cart for the O2 labeled Billards (no i). Other than that I can't think of any typos I own.

I"ve thought about it but not enough to do anything about it. Wrestlemania X-8, for Gamecube, was released with two different covers. After Stone Cold left they replaced him with The Rock. Not a missprint per se, but as a variation I can't help but wonder if it's worth pursuing the Stone Cold version of the game.
