I am listed as a trading assistant. Had a couple of enquries in the past but nothing came of it. Once before, I did sell some stuff for another eBayer. It was mostly tat, but a few nice bits, such as copies of REZ for the Dreamcast. About 200 titles in all, did not fetch much money, but I did it all on a FLD, and got to bump my feedback up very fast.

Anyway, the person who has approached me, claims to be startng an import/export business, and sells more stock than they can handle.

Well, their feedback does show that they have sold a lot of stuff quite quickly, mostly the more exotic retro gaming stuff, famicom stuff, import carts etc etc

Anyway, I said yes (with a few common sense conditions), i'll let you know if anything comes of it.

Let me ask you this -- will you have the merchandise in hand before selling it? Also, how will the money be handled?

I don't drop ship, at all, I always have the goods delivered, before I list, and won't sell anything dodgy or illegal, or against eBays rules.

The way I sell goods for people, generally, is at a set percentage of the final bid price, paying the FVF fees, and all listing costs, and my cut from the remainder. It's simpler, than working out the fees on an item by item basis.

I forward payment, by personal cheque, or pay-pal etc, or whatever method has been agreed upon beforehand, 28 days after the payment has been recieved, usually.

Careful man...because if he wants you to sell his products...and you're the one who will have the feedback...

For example, if one of his products gets bad feedback...it's you, who will end up on the slab since you are using your Ebay account for it.
