Hello everyone - I've been lurking here for more than a year now, but finally registered today. Love this site!

Anyway, I didn't get to go to the Classic Gaming Expo this year and was wondering if anyone checked out the Midway booth... I was curious if they had Midway Arcade Treasures 2 running/playable, and what your thoughts were.

Thanks!

They had it running non-stop on SIX huge TVs. :) Lots of people stopped by and played pretty much every title in the lineup. Looks great, and FINALLY, the original, pixel for pixel N.A.R.C. is available on a home console.

Excellent! Could you tell which version(s) were running (PS2, Xbox, GC)? And how did Mortal Kombat 2/3 look?

Thanks!

I'm hoping that Mortal Kombat II translated well onto the collection... or that it's at LEAST better than the rest of the console versions out there. Not sure it'll play all that well on the Gamecube's controller though :( Good thing I picked up that Soul Calibur 2 arcade stick :)

Hell, I might pick up this release just for Wizard of Wor!

it was playing on all 3 systems. they had Green Dev units behind the TVs, and they were giving away Midway Arcade Treasures 1 for free! I did not play Midway Arcade Treasures 2, cause I was excited about getting something free. :D

My cousin and I played through NARC and had a blast. I don't care how many people say that game sucks, I absolutely love it! On the second day, we tried to complete Pit Fighter, but we couldn't take down the final boss.

Playing the games with an X-Arcade stick was pretty cool too.

WoW was running fast, a lot faster than it should have been, so there some minor tweaks left to perform on the emulation. But many of the games played great imo :)
