Your Favorite Dreamcast *Exclusive* Games [Archive]

I just wasted... er, spent a wad of cash on a Dreamcast and now I need sometime to play. BUT I don't want to buy stuff that's already been ported to GameCube or PS2 (like Skies of Arcadia or Ecco).

So... please give me some suggestions of your *favorite* games that are Dreamcast exclusives?

Funny thing is, the Dreamcast doesn't cost "a wad of cash." The price for one is quite reasonable. Hell, you can buy a used DC, a game or two AND an extra controller for less than the price of one new Xbox, PS2, or GC game.

Wait -- I know, a game shop *forced* you to buy one, right? At an overinflated price no less. The bastids.

I like Samba de Amigo and Feet of Fury. Feet of Fury is a homebrew, but you'll be amazed by the quality of the game... it's this close (holds fingers together so that they almost, but don't quite touch) to being commercial quality.
I don't see why you shouldn't buy some of the crossplatform games, though. Some of those games were better on the Dreamcast than on any other platform, particularly Crazy Taxi and Grandia II.

I got mine from someone I know on another video game forum. He just asked me out of the blue, "Hey, do you want this?", and I happily accepted his gift.
You might be able to find the software here. Just keep in mind that you'll have to burn your own discs before you can run it, and as I understand it the process can be somewhat difficult.

I've have Dreamcast games I bought, but still haven't played.

One I pulled out recently was "Record of Lodoss War", and I must say that that's one sleeper hit of a Dreamcat title, I haven't stopped playing it for the past 2 days, "well maybe to eat, sleep, and try a few other games. ;)"

sonic adventure is a great game so is NFL 2k 2k1 and 2k2 are all good so is tony hawk 1 i know it on other systems but it is my fav verison

As far as I know Mars Matrix was a DC only release and is an excellent game.

I guess that's why he's been haunted by those angry red Evil Ottos for so long. Troy, you sparked the insults by making a snide comment about the Dreamcast when you first started this thread. To top it off, instead of making a humble request for recommended Dreamcast, you threw salt on the wound by demanding (not asking) that they be exclusive to the Dreamcast.
