Okay.

Hands-up.

Who's picked up "Hot Shots Golf Fore?"

Are you as disappointed as I am? I don't know what the hell happened.

Maybe "Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour" and "Mario Golf: Advance Tour" spoiled me.

Maybe I've finally come to the realization that the PS2 is a terrible console.

Maybe the voice acting in "Fore!" is ANNOYING AS FUCK.

Anybody with me on this?

Voice acting, not as bad as #3 was...very poor though. Would have preferred no character voices like in HSG 1.

I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far, I really dig the two mini-golf courses.

I like it better than Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour so far. I'm also noticing that even the most basic courses tend to have one or two holes where you can put up big scores (I shot a 13 on one hole in my first round!!! )

I felt HSG3 was disappointingly easy, this seems to be more challenging, we'll see...

I'm not far into it yet, just got it today...

I didn'y buy it, I played the demo at CC. I hated it. I love the first game for PSX, but now I pretty much just play Mario Golf: Advance Tour on the GBA if I wanna play some golf.

I've been playing it for a few days off and on and I'm still undecided.

In VS mode I've unlocked seven or so characters using Phoebe and all on the first try. HSG3 wasn't nearly as easy in that regard. I do like the 9 hole VS mode though, since 18 was a bit long.

I did not like the mini golf. I was really hoping for a traditional roadside mini golf game, not a putt-putt course. I haven't seen the second course yet, so maybe I have something to look forward to.

The tournaments also seem to be easier then HSG3. I've only played a few (won them all on the first try) and I'm still undecided on the addition of points + position being used to determine victory in some. So far I don't mind it, but if I come in 1st at -5 and lose the tourny by a few points I might be a little annoyed.

As far as the voice acting goes, I played so much HSG3 that I really got used to the voices, so as bad as they were it would have added some consistancy. I do like some of the new characters (Greg mostly, something about having Sean Connery as my caddy that seems to make the game go faster).

I think some of the control tweaking was nice but may have added to the lack of difficulty so far.

Overall it's still a fun game and I can see playing it for some time.

You'll hate it even more...more twists and turns MUCH harder.

I love it :)

Now I'm even more undecided...interestingly, I also had only bought the first. For whatever reason, I never picked up the 2nd or 3rd...

i bought it friday, and i think it is pretty good.i also dont think its any better or worse then hot shots 3.hell,it plays the same to me,other then the opition of easy play for hitting the ball.i like the fact that mini golf(putt putt)is back, and i like some of the new characters(like the wrestler dude)and you can play as mel(my favorite caddy from hot shots 3).CREAM CHEESE!!!
