A Kid's Review
Ok for those of you who have played Golden Sun this is pretty much the same idea. It's pretty much a clone of Golden Sun. However, it's a pretty darn good clone.

Scale:1-5

Graphics:4.75 These are really good graphics! Much better than Golden Sun.

Gameplay:4.5 this game got a pretty good gameplay. it will keep you entertained for an while.

Sound:4 The music ok...but it repeats a litte too many times. And the sound has a little fuzzy sound inthe backround...it might just be my gameboy advance.

Self Idea:2 ok this is where the game has the downfall. i like games dat arent really clones of other games. This is a clone of Golden Sun and well the whole idea is really the same.

Difficulty: 5 the difficluty is well balanced in this game. Unlike in Golden Sun you dont hae to keep walking around the map trying to gain levels to beat soem tough monster. The whole level thing between monsters and characters are pretty balanced.

Overall:4 Ok if you are like me and like totally different games this wont really be what your looking for. However this game wont dissapoint you. The graphics and gameplay are entertaining so if you're into Golden Sun this is right up your alley.

You know, I do see the humor in all this, but hey man, cut the kid some slack. First off, he's a kid. He doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to games, so he probably didn't know that Lunar was written in 1992. And who's gonna teach him the history of video games? His parents? LOL

And besides, at least he LIKED Lunar. Most kids don't have the attention span for a game like that. And, if you haven't noticed, kids today demand something different from games (violence, dismemberment, acting-out of animalistic fantasies) than we did or still do (fun). This little kid, as ignorrant as he may be, is really going against the grain of people in his generation (if he's under 12, that is.)

I tried playing Donkey Kong with my friend's kids and it was like pulling teeth. "Does he have a gun? This sucks. Do you have GTA3? I want to play a game where you kill people. Do you have Pokemon? These graphics suck..." the whining went on and on. Give this kid props. From the looks of his tastes, he's a younger version of us. He'll figure out the order-of-influences eventually, but he's on the right track.

I used to. I gave up on that. Especially in this case, since every person I know who speaks English as a second language at least knows where capital letters and periods go.

To give nova here some credit, though, he was probably just in a hurry or something. If you go read his review (linked to above) his grammar is at least competent, albeit not perfect. He just needs to learn to slow down and proofread.

I give him/her credit for taking the time to try and help someone who's probably making a buy or not buy decision on Amazon. I buy games there and I appreciate anybody giving me thier personal experience. Somtimes I have been persuaded to buy a game that was panned by professional reviewers because somebody wrote convincingly about how much they enjoyed a game. I get a kick out of that. To my embarrassment, I don't understand the correlation between the Golden Sun games, which somehow ended up on my list of computer games I should buy, and the Lunar series. Proof enough, I guess, that I am not amoung the %2 of the population with high IQ's.

I know, I know...GFAQs is the message board trash pit of the internet...but it's still my original home! I was a GameFAQer before any other message board or forum. I still grab karma there everyday. Not all there are as dumb as toast. I know several DP users that were GameFAQers first.
