Essentially it talks about emulation issues, piracy and uses the example of the long lost version of Robotron for the Spectrum as an example. (It also details some 'interesting' blackmail tactics Atarisoft used to get cheap conversions.)

I haven't read much of Stuart's stuff (just this and the PC-8001 Super Mario Bros. Special article), but what I've seen I liked a ton. Good site!

He's even included the Speccy version (and emulator) there as well so you can try it out.

It's interesting comparing Robotron on the C64 to the Speccy one.

Interesting article. If piracy was that damaging Sony would be out-of-business now, not dominating the market. The PS was the easiest system to pirate. PS2 isn't that different.

With these idiots running the industry it's a miracle the old games weren't wiped out of the face of the planet.
