me too, no hurt in trying though eh? ;)

Would be kind of interesting if people who do have the cart would post their name and number down so we could get a count. IMHO, this is the rarest released NES game and I am very interested in getting my hands on a copy. So if you have one, feel free to post your number. btw, does anyone know what the total production run on these was before caltron snagged up the rights and started putting their labels over these?

I thought it was the other way around. didn't myriad put their stickers over caltron's?

It is the other way around. Caltron sold to Myriad. You can see the Caltron label underneith the Myriad one. My cart is #190. I'd love to know how many carts with lower serial numbers are in collectors hands.

The highest offer I've had for it was $900 US. Of course, I wouldn't sell for anything (unless maybe we got into NWC gold cart prices, but then we'd have to talk). The fact that I got it for a dollar makes it all the better :D

Based off of it's scarcity, I doubt more than 400 of these still exist out there; but even that number seems pretty high (since NWC carts are on eBay more often than these things are).

$900!? I don't know who's crazier... the person who offered that much or you for not taking it. ;)

Disagree. It's unlikely that I'll ever get another one of these, and I really don't need the money.

If we had some sort of precedence on eBay, we could have a rational discussion about that offer, but since the going price for a loose Myriad is ??? then to say it's crazy is a knee-jerk reaction.

Remember: Every man has the power to do nothing!

If I had something that rare, I might just hold onto it. Stuff I'd buy with the money would be very nice, but I could always find more examples of item n, after all.

Mmm...how I wish for a myriad. I agree with bliss with not wanting to sell, I'll never sell the rareities I've aquired...I'll never have them again!

I found your cart. Look at my website : http://www.er.uqam.ca/merlin/fd491499/nintendo/nes/megasoft/adameve/ I took the picture from tsr NES archive.

I have #580 sealed.

The game is incredibly rare. I'm pretty sure there are at least 3 threads arguing whether this or Stadium Events is the rarest retail NES game if you search. My vote is for the Myriad, btw.

But is it any fun to play?

Porter was one of my favorite games back in the day. Long before I knew the rarity of this game I would rent it at my local video store but I could never beat Porter until I played the game on an emulator years later. It is just like the Boxxle/Sokoban games that have been released for other systems.

Magic Carpet is a bit like Cloud Master for the SMS. Booky Man is the same as Brush Roller. Balloon Boy is like...a Sachen game I can't remember the name of. Cosmos Cop is a bit like Space Harrier. What the hell is the other one?

Adam and Eve is the other one, it's a Balloon Fight ripoff.

Balloon Fight

Umm, its kinda strange they ripped off Balloon Fight and made the name Adam and Eve and not Balloon Boy. Ironic even. Good luck with your search qixmaster, you'll need it for sure.

You are thinking of Super Pang I and Super Pang II and the correct title is balloon monster, not Balloon Boy.
