I think alot of people underestimate the gamecube for importing. Especially if your an otaku like me you'd love it. With games like Naruto 1 and 2 (basically super smash bro. anime style) or the one piece grand battles....or choro Q, dragon drive...and a whole slew of other good imports. I love my SD Gundam Generation GC :D, and I'd say anywho who does heavy importing should look into the GC

All the One Piece and Naruto games are great. Can't forget about Hudson Dream Fighters either.

Well, the things is that most people buy a Gamecube for Nintendo titles, and since Nintendo releases all their major titles in the States, there's not much of a demand for imports. And I'd imagine those Naruto and One Piece games will come out in the US eventually, with more exposure it's only a matter of time.

I hate to say it, but that might be the only saving grace for me with the Cube.

I have some of these fs/ft in the Buying and Selling forum if anyone is interested.

I doubt they will come to USA, figure the gamecube will only be around for another year and a half? and bandai doesnt plan on bringing either to the states anytime soon. There are more good games though.

The only import I have so far is Dragon Drive and I can't play it...no freeloader :(

What others are good? I don't play fighters or text heavy stuff so I'm pretty picky....

I've got the Hudson remakes of Starsoldier and Pc Genjin(Bonk).
Both are pretty good and semi english friendly.

Stuff I've got for the Cube which ain't coming outside of Japan:

All 4 Hudson remakes
Donkey Konga with the Japanese song line-ups
Shikigami No Shiro 2
Nintendo Puzzle Collection
Mr Driller DrillLand (actually I'm looking to get this at the moment)

Other stuff out that's been mentioned such as Naruto and the One Piece games are good... don't overlook them just cos they are cult Japanese anime type games.

I absoultely LOVE japanese GC games :D

Sure they may cost a bit more but who can resist the fantastic artwork and the tiny cases. Some of the games in my gc collection will never be released in the UK & thats why i import.

Hardly though... PlayAsia + the 15% discount = cheap greatness ;)

A few more Japanese releases than me... been stocking up on the very cheap US stuff recently. Though you've cheated slightly by showing the big outside boxes AND the smaller inner ones too :P

I spot Japanese second Zelda collection in there heh... still looking for a reasonable priced copy of it myself. And where's WE6FE btw? :o

What's the big box game above Puzzle Collection, and the game left of Wind Waker?

Hehe yeah play asia have some good prices and i have recently gotten a few gc games from them.

I took the pic of the outer boxes as well because some of the inner game sleeves have different artwork to the outer boxes. I really need to update my gc pics as i have added a ton more stuff since that one was taken.

As for the games, the one above the puzzle collection box is the beyblade Magnetag battle premium box. And the one to the left of wind waker is doubutsu no mori E+.

(Edit) Was bored so i decided to update my pics, Sorry 56k users. I have tried to keep the pics as small as possible.

In case your wondering if i have gone mad buying 2 copies of baten kaitos. Its just 1 game but they decided to put each disk in a separate box. :hmm:

(edit) added some more random gc stuff.... Gamecube pads, pikmin puzzle card-e binder with complete series 1 & promos (still need series 2), mr driller badges and a mario kart DD nameplate for my gc.

Japanese Baten Kaitos but no pre-order Tower of Druaga disc? Shame on you :P

(and yes, for the record I do actually own that heh).

What's the Evolution game like for the GC? I had a chance to get it on US when I was over there last week but didn't buy it...

It's nice to know that I'm not the only person outside of Japan with Doubutsu no Mori e+ :)

Umm... care to elaborate? :)

Oh, and one question for Importaku: Did you buy all of those games seperately, or did you just get the "W-Packs"? I personally am considering getting the Custom Robo/Mario Party 5 one as I don't want to pay full price for the US version, and I also may get the Pik/Pikmin 2 one (I do own both of the US versions of those...) just for the e-reader+ connectivity (I ordered the whole slew of Pikmin 2 cards from Play-Asia).

Ahh the tower of druaga bonus disk, one of the things i still need to track down. I believe game choice club still have them in stock.

Most of the time i dont find out about the cool preorder bonuses till its too late. O_O

All the games i have i bought separately. But the W-packs are a great idea. If i hadnt already gotten the games that are in the packs i would have picked them up for the nice extras some of them have.

Evolutia is a ok game but its nowhere as good a tales of symphonia or baten kaitos. Worth getting if you find it cheap somwhere.

I asked because I enjoyed the version on the NGPC you see...

I heard about the pre-order bonus for Baten Kaitos and figured it might turn into a small rarity of its own. I've not seen one on eBay to be honest either. So I just got in contact with JPNGames and Dave secured one for me at the time (last October I think). Have to admit, I don't use him for normal games as PlayAsia easily wins out, but he's very good for getting the obscure, hard to find stuff :D

@Querjek - because I'm special heh. Nah it's all down to an agreement and affiliation with the site you see, I (along with several other people) are allowed 15% off what software we order from them. Importaku knows what I am talking about, hence why it was directed to him ;)

Ah, I see :)

I'm sorta mad about that Tower of Druaga thing now... NCSX had a closeout of those for $35 each but I didn't buy one :(

it's text heavy, but possibly the greatest party game EVER belongs to:

http://www.ncsxshop.com/images/products/large/1203/gc_momotaro_shop.jpg

MOMOTARO DENSETSU XII!

My friend who had come back from a year in japan had a JP gamecube and tons of games, this being one of them. We played it and damn if it's not the craziest yet fun party game ever. It's also on other systems but this is the one I played. Watch out for the Hurri-bonbi and King bonbi, they'll screw you over hardcore :D

Gee, I could use a 15% discount from PlayAsia! They rock! I just got my MegaDrive Encyclopedia today, but I can't force myself to open it yet! I wanna order another one before I do so, but a 15% discount would help me out alot more than thier $5 coupons do! (Although those are very helpful!)
