If you're like me, you've been waiting for the game to hit below 20 bucks. Finally, Target is running a sale this week...16.88. It's not a clearance, so even if they sell out, you can pick up a raincheck or price match it at EB.

So, the price is right, go get it!

Is it a greatest hits version or is it just the normal version?

Chris

There's no Greatest Hits version for X-2 yet, so i'ts the normal version.

Max Payne 2 for Xbox and a couple of other titles are 16.88 as well. Sounds like a good week to go check out your local Target. :)

I can see this game being easily picked up for $15 in the future though. I mean, just like I can get pretty much any of the PSX era Final Fantasys for around that price at any given EB or GameStop. Good tip though. Especially since they're brand new.

They have huge red/green stripes and silver disks... who could mistake a GH for an original? :P

I don't know many blind video game players, dude. I played Super Punch-Out blindfolded once, but that's as close as I can think of.

:hmm:

So....you'd wait.....to save ONE dollar and EIGHTY-EIGHT cents? Tell me I read that wrong.

Either way, I played it last night and I URGE you to pick it up. It's one of the funnest FF games I've played in a long long time. Battles are fast and frantic, gameplay is quick and the dialog and cutscenes are AMAZING. Voices are so well done. Soundtrack is very upbeat and pop/rock-ish as well.

Now....if you're a guy, and you're expecting a normal Final Fantasy game. Well, I hope you have your masculinity in check. Luckily I do. :) It's sort of a mix of Sailor Moon, Charlies Angels, Spice Girls: The Movie and of course Final Fantasy. So if that sounds peachy to you....grab it up today!

No I'd wait because I have other things to buy right now and I don't foresee a shortage on X-2 happening any time soon that would warrant me rushing to get the game now.

I'm waiting for Harvest Moon for the GameCube to drop to $16.88 at Target. It's only a matter of time...

FFX-2 is not worth the time it took to type this message. Save your money. You've been warned.

FFX-2 is worth every hour you spend on it. Use your money. You've been encouraged.

LOL :-P

I loved Charlie's Angels the Movie. FFX-2 is more of the same fun stuff.

Finally picked it up before Target closed ;)
Good thing I remembered. I mean 16.88 for hours upon hours of game play is worth it IMO.

If it's like Charlie's Angels I probably won't care for it.

Got my copy yesterday, but I still haven't beat FFX-1. I'm working on it now startign a clean slate, I remember buying it on launch a couple years back but got burned out on it due to those long movies and I learned the sphere system too late and got my ass handed to me by bosses.

Until I finish FFX, my copy of X2 is gonna stay in the shrinkwrap.

I always buy my new games too quickly. They always drop in price....I have to learn to be patient. Oh well, I don't mind having paid full price for a great game!
