Ok, after scouring through eBay I came across this auction...

CLICK HERE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1182&item=8127193593&rd=1)

Duel Hearts - 25.00 BIN or 20.00 start bid. Nothing odd there.

But notice it's a FEATURED PLUS! (19.99) listing AND a HOME PAGE FEATURED LISTING! (39.99) And the auction is HIGHLIGHTED (5.00) and BOLD (1.00). Figure that in with the total value fee and if he sells this BIN at 25.00 (plus 3.85 shipping) he owes eBay +/- 70.00!

Now, after I went through to see how much it would cost manually I noticed this at the bottom of the auction...

Q: Hi, I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but all of your auctions are listed as Featured Plus auctions AND Home Page Featured auctions. eBay is charging you over $65.00 to list each one of your auctions. If this was a mistake then I would contact eBay immediately to rectify it. Joe
A: Thanks.

So it seems as if this fellow KNOWS what he's paying. My question is...WHY? There's gotta be something here that I'm missing.

I do not know an explanation for this.

EBay likes people to spend big £££/$$$, right?
Perhaps this bloke works for eBay and he's trying to persuade us to buy loads of extra auction features!

That's exactly what I thought until I seen that he posted the e-mail from another person on the auction. It's like he blatantly KNOWS what he's doing. That's why im confused. x_x

Is there a bunch of them being sold? 20 copies of Duel Hearts?

BTW is that game any good?

And is it worth that price?

I bought it at a Buy One Get One free sale at our local video rental store.

About a week and a half ago I purchased a Centipede reproduction for the Lynx from this seller. I only paid $10 for it and the seller paid for all of the extra features for the auction that I bought as well. I was told that it would be shipped priority mail. I did receive a notice that this WOULD ship priority mail and was sent a tracking number, but the tracking number has never been scanned by the post office and as of today I still do not have it. I emailed the seller asking where my game was and have yet to hear back.

The plot thickens.

Actually, If you look over to the side of the e-mail he posted on his auctions it says "Answered on August 25th"....he has time to post e-mails on his auctions but no time to respond to you? :hmm:

Maybe he is getting a deal from Ebay or knows some people there. Or he is just somebody who could care less about the cash or maybe he used a stolen CC or.....etc. Looks a bit fishy whatever his reason/purpose so I'd stay away from his stuff. 8-)

without some reasonable input from the seller there is no explaination for this auction

My Centipede arrived today! I didn't expect it because she never responded to my emails. I have to wonder if it is a soon to be ex wife who is selling her husbands stuff at a discount and sticking him with the eBay fees. She sold me the Lynx Centipede for $10 and it would have cost a lot more than that from B & C.
