if this has been covered already, please just let me know.
after finding out about the 2 roms that dp released, i wondered about the possibilities of taking those roms and making them into cart form. i went on AA to find that they sell boards and eproms over there.
can i just burn the rom into the eprom, put the eprom into the board, use a case from an old game, and have that work?
is there something else i need to do?
i just think it would be really cool to have some of these unreleased games on the 2600 for myself in cart form they way they were meant to be played.
also, if all i have to do is the above, is there anybody out there that has an eprom programmer, because i do not have one?

Nonono, you're supposed to wait until someone ELSE does that, then buy it for $30-$75 to support the hobby.

That is pretty much all there is to it! Just make sure you have the right size EPROM(s) and you're off to the races. We do it all the time - I love the Cuttle Cart too but having a cart version handy for any occasion is the gamer's choice.

Sorry, couldn't help it, honestly I haven't read more than 1-2 posts in all of the topics popping up all over the place, so I don't even know who I probably offended. Just wanted to piss on the fire.

i tried doing this years back, does anyone remember buying a burner and light eraser from me? I may try it again now that it seems easier with boards and carts easily available.

The Cuttlecart 2 requires a 7800 and is much more versatile than the original (and more expensive)
I can vouch for the CC2. It's a fantastic piece of hardware.

ok, so who here can program eproms?
please keep in mind people, i WILL NEVER sell these. i just think it would be cool to play these the way they were meant to be played.
i can get the eproms for these for about $3, and the board for $7 i think it is from aa. thanks for letting me know which board to use, that is a huge help.
all i want to do is buy some eproms and a few boards from aa and just have somebody burn the eproms for me.
getting cases will be easy for me since i have about 5-10 dupes in my collection that are commons.
anybody know how or willing to burn some eproms for me?
I decided to make a cart of Meltdown and Targ today, complete with home-made labels
Those look really sweet!
