SNES Experts. Is this cart variation more or less rare?

Ive never seen a blue Metal Warriors cart! (till now!)

Sure! The rare blue Metal Warriors cart was a contest promotion. Only fifty carts were given out to the winners, making it by far the rarest SNES cartridge known. I'd pick that up if I were you.

...or maybe it's the bad lighting of the photograph, making it appear "blue."

Yeah, it looks PAINTED to me....that cart is just too DEEP a shade of blue for it to be a bad photo. :)

Almost all his/her other auctions are tinted blue as well. Dude needs a new camera. LOL

Haha, I took a good second look at it and it's certainly the camera's fault. Grainy picture, that's ONE of your telltale signs, and you can spot a bluish tint all around the rest, too.
