View Full Version : Anyone Played Mario's Time Machine for NES?

Anyone played this game?

I heard its kind of like Mario Is Missing and i freaking hated that game with a passion. I am thinking of gettin it cause i am a big mario collector but if its anything close to mario is missing I am gonna puke.

Heh, I beat that game.

I also used to work with one of the programmers from that game.

Apparantly, Nintendo thought the contract they signed with the developer only allowed them to make mario games for the PC, but when these POS's arrived for review, the big N was all like "WTF, you can't make this for the NES/SNES!". But then they re-read the contract they signed, which stated the developer could make the games for the NES/SNES too, they were all like "D'oh!"

...and that's how those educational Mario games came about.

Oh yeah, I remember renting Mario Time Machine for the SNES and not being able to figure anything out. I couldnt get past the first room.

Mario is Missing was kinda good, I thought...

I've seen this game down at a nearby pawn shop for the longest time. Never was interested in picking it up ;D.

I actually liked Mario is missing.... :embarrassed:

Anyway, I rented Mario's Time Machine for Snes once, and I couldn't figure out WTF I was supposed to be doing. I just remember some surfing Sequence that refused to end.

haha, i tried that game a dozen times on zsnes and it's always the same, the damn surfing doesn't end LOL
