But I think its a Fake, pirate or homemade.
Strange for a Trial version it has a complete lable and with Box? @_@

Second thing why I think its fake, the picture on the Lable is different then the Box picture. And there is Knuckles on the Lable when I see it right.
But Knuckles was not in the game from Sonic 2. @_@

Third reason why I think its fake, look at this auction from the same guy:

He say that the Mario World Bros is real and that it was limited to 1000. But Mario for Genesis never. Its pirate I think. So I think the Sonic 2 Trial Version is too not real.

Too strange, the names: seller = ***genesis***
bidder = ***est-beast*** & ***watcher***
And when he cancel a bid it was soon after the bidder bids. In one auction he cancel ***est-beast***, in the other ***watcher***
Very Strange for me. O_O

What "You" think? Is this real or Fake.
Over 150,- Euro for a Fake is a bit to high I think.

Well, I'm thinking that it has to be fake as there's no reason for Knuckles to be on the label.

Maybe your translation is off, and it's a pirate cart of the pre-release Sonic 2 ROM?

his other auction right now that is up looks very legit, plus it comes with pokemon box.

damn, speaking of which, i still need to buy that stupid pokemon box even if i will never use it. it might turn out to be pretty rare if they make label var.s if it gets released outside of pokemon center.

It is the known Sonic 2 alpha ROM, on a pirate cart. I asked the guy who bought it, he provided photos.

I think he's trying to stay below the "no pirate"policy of ebay. He probably figured any good collector bidding on it would know better, and if some shmuck gets it, at least they got a cool game.

If called on it he could say, "Oh, that's just what I was told."

Not justifying here...it's quite immoral.
