Another pirate scam. The label artwork looks like it's from the new remake version that came out last year.

Here's the link to report it as a counterfeit item: http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/counterfeit.html

I'm not looking to report it because I really couldn't care less if he sells it or not. I just thought it was interesting.

It IS the cover of the current gen's Spy Hunter games. I'm kinda curious about the game itself. Was Spy Hunter actually ever released for the 5200? Is it really that easy to port a game from the Atari 400 to the Atari 5200 and put it on a cart? Cause if its not difficult then I can see a flood of new games for the 5200 coming down the road.

There have been about 45 new games ported to the 5200 this year.

A few of the new games can be had in the various online videogame stores, or turn up on eBay occasionally. There were only a few Spy Hunter carts but Donkey Kong and Tapper turn up quite a bit, though I dont know how many of those were made.

I dont think the 5200 catalog is done growing yet either. MHS and First Star just released an official port of Bristles for the 5200 with a nice box and manual, plus there are more games from thier catalog coming.

Kenfused at AtariAge is also working on a kick ass Burgertime port (Beef Drop) for the 5200 that is pretty much done and totally arcade quality. Supposedly this will be for sale soon but no date has been set.

Playing Devil's advocate, some may even say that the rereleases we've been seeing are pirates in and of themselves, since rights aren't always aquired....

So, if that cart is a pirate, is it any more so than the others we've seen lately?
