CAPS ARE ANNOYING!
And I think people don't usually post pics (at least not alot) because it's hard for people on dialup to browse.
Edit: And, large pictures screw up the thread where you have to scroll left and right to read a persons message. Also a tad annoying.

Today was a good day. Clearance sale at Toys R Us. Everything was all ready reduced, and THEN 50% off. All of it was new and sealed. Here was my grab. I'll probably go back with a price guide.
N64:
Perfect Dark---I got it for $5
Dreamcast:
Maken X----I got it for $5
The Typing of the Dead---I got it for $5 again. I don't have the DC keyboard yet, but I'll pick up the one that's been collecting dust in the back room of my dad's videostore.
PS2:
Magic Pengel---Ok, this was strange but awesome. They had it marked for $40. Half off would be $20 right? Well, they only charged me 10 :D I won't complain
That stuff would have cost me $70 at there prices, but I got it for $25
:P
This was also interesting: all those games, except for Magic Pengel, were M rated, making those three the first M rated games I've ever owned @_@
I never really realized that I hadn't owned any before...guess I never felt the need, eh?
My brother also got the Platinum/Onyx GBA:SP for his birthday today.
Now, I have a few questions:
How much would these go for on ebay?
Perfect Dark, sealed
Pokemon Stadium 1 pack, new
there was also this bass fishing game for the DC. I don't know if you can tell me just from that.
Thanks!

SNES carts:
Earthbound $6
Super Noah's Ark 3D $1 :hmm:
Noah's Ark is a strange looking, looks like it can be piggy-backed like Genesis' Sonic and Knuckles. Any ideas?
Super 3D Noah's Ark is the only unlicensed SNES game released in the US, and you have to place Wolfenstein 3D or Doom on top of the game to play it. It plays like those two games, but you play as Noah throwing fruit at animals to get them back into the ark. Rumor has it that id gave Wisdom Tree the Wolfenstein 3D game engine as revenge because Nintendo (which was still "family friendly" back then) changed some of the content in the game. It's an R6 in the rarity guide. I wish I could find a copy somewhere.
Nice score on that Earthbound too. I found a loose cart for $4 earlier this year and I was a little surprised that I got it so cheap, since I found it at a store that normally charges anywhere from $10-$25 for SNES RPG's.

I went to my local goodwill today, because they have this stack of NES/SNES games there. I didn't have enough time to look through them all last week when I went, so I figured I'd hit them up this time.
Gone @_@
Someone cleaned them out. All that was left was a mario/duck hunt and a super-gameboy.
I still ended up grabbing Pac-Man and Space Invaders for the 2600 for 1.99 each.
But, there was 1 oddity left. The guy who was there (I guess he used to have a SNES back in the day) told me it was a SNES cleaning kit. It looked like a dark grey SNES cart, but it had this little button on that side that popped the cart in 2 when pushed. There were slots inside that looked like parts went there, but the only thing inside was a piece of flexible plastic-y styrophome-y thing that probably didn't do anything important. What's the deal with that cleaning kit thing? Anything special?

Yeah, you got to be fast at those Goodwills. Only Genesis sports titles seem to have a long shelf life.
A few weeks back I stopped off at a Goodwill during my lunchbreak and they had a whole pile of Saturn stuff including: Steet Figher something, Resident Evil, and House of the Dead amongst others. I was tempted by all all of 'em, but was trying to keep my spending under $10. So I gambled and took an unidentified import cartridge and some other game I had never heard of (games were $2.99 a piece and the cart was $3.99.)
Later I was kind of wishing I had grabbed House of the Dead and then when I looked it up in the Rarity Guide, I couldn't believe it!! Of all the games there, I had chosen the second least valuable (there was also a Hockey game.)
The next day I rushed back on my lunch only to find everything was gone, except for the lone Hockey game. Ah well.

Today I got Tales of Symphonia. :) It was a slightly late birthday present from my boyfriend.
Oh, and yesterday I managed to get the GameStop Star Ocean 3 poster for free (which I also have my boyfriend to thank for). :) When we ask if they had any, the guy there was talking about how we had to pre-order the game, then he was corrected by some other guy who said it already came out, so he was saying that we had to buy it. I said I didn't have much on me, and we were almost about to leave empty-handed, but then some lady in the store said to go ahead and just give me one because they were going to throw them out soon anyway. Then we hauled ass out of there with it before they changed their mind. :P We didn't even buy a single thing while we were in there, haha (but we have spent A LOT there over the years). Now I just need to find a way to get the EB poster. :P Probably will have to go with eBay since there are no EB stores around here.
That's it for me, and it's probably going to stay that way for a long time. I'm back in NYC and back to school, so the summer and all the garage sales and game hunting is pretty much over for me (especially now that GameStop no longer sells NES, SNES, and Genesis carts). For the rest of the year it'll likely be some imports now and then from eBay and online stores and maybe some stuff from the Salvation Army if I'm brave enough to face that horrid smell once again.
