Seen this one around wondered if it's worth picking up.

If you like Tempest and Gyruss, yes it's worth it. I've seen it in action last week, and it looks pretty good.

I own one. It doesn't just LOOK good it PLAYS good, too. When anyone talks about the Jaguar having any good games, Tempest is usually one of the games mentioned.

i think its one of the best games ever made- so yes, it is good.
it's worth owning a jag just for the experience!

It's probably safe to say that Minter made the game (Tempest 2000) that sold all those Jaguars. So, you betcha, like everyone has said, it rocks.

What do you mean IS it good?Was there ever a doubt in your mind?I bought a Jag for that game and play it almost everyday.MAn that game is good,I just wish I could get betetr at it! :D :eek: 8-)

That and Alien vs. Predator, and a good version of Doom were the only reason to buy a Jag. Go snag it up.

Well, you COULD just skip the Jag version and get the PSX Tempest X3 game. Better graphics.
::avoids being pelted with Kasumi Ninja carts::
In all honesty, it is one of the best titles on the Jag. If yer itchin' to expand your Jaguar library and it's a good price, don't hesitate.

Don't get the PSX version, Really, the jag version is the best Tempest game you'll ever play. The PSX version doesn't have THAT much better graphics, but it DOES have load times.

Done. And agreed; It is really cool! $13 CAN complete was not a bad price either. Now I may actually turn my Jag on for something other than A vs P. Thanks.

@Sylent: load times aren't that bad on X3. As for graphics, are we looking at the same game? The images seem much more colorful on X3 than on T2K. I like X3 better, but that's just me. Before I got it, T2K was the only reason I played my Jag (which got sold and funds went to a 3DO instead).
