Several weeks ago I asked for information on AA about a white Sear's Atari that was listed on eBay. Here's the link for the completed auction:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8121770968&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

It went for the absurd price of $495--which is very high considering that many people on AA though it was a fake. I've checked the completed auction a few times to see if the seller left feedback for the buyer or vice versa and no feedback has ever been left either way. Today I checked the seller's other auctions and I came across this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62054&item=8127291697

In this auction he's selling some broken toaster style Nintendos but there's two that are painted--one black and one white. I think these were either practice for the Atari, or he was also thinking about doing the same thing with a Nintendo. Thieving scumbag! The seller is
pinheadkid. I would put him on your blackball list!

On the other hand, that's a pretty good paint job :)
I don't know about leaving the joystick top and front plate like that, but very impressed with the sticker removal and replacement on the bottom (one corner IS lifted though), and the telegames on the front looks VERY good.

The lot of NES stuff auction isnt a bad deal actually. 7 units working or not and a bunch of games is worth 70 dollars.

But the Atari auction is insane. @_@ Nice paint job though LOL

Wow! I just noticed (Didn't see it in the original thread) that seller lives about 30 miles "up the road" from me! I would've liked to have contacted him and seen it firsthand.

Dear hovocgsx,

I did not purchase the Atari. Seller would not answer whether or not it was painted or not- just said it was white.

Please respond to the question on eBay by clicking the button below.

Thank you,
