Cobalt Flux or not?

Anyone here have one?

I'm awful close to purchasing one, but while I've heard great things about them, I also hear that they have some problems as well, mostly with the control boxes.

$300 is a lot of money to me, and I want to spend it wisely on a nice DDR pad that will last.

Any suggestions/help/thoughts/ideas rock! ;)

Horrible paraphrase: "Cobalt Flux is the worst metal DDR pad except for all the others."

It has its problems, yes, but it's still the best. Those things aren't that hard to build, I doubt any problems that pop up wouldn't be something a little soldering can't fix.
